Project Manager-Telephony Project, J1206-0449 Contract
TRM Technologies Inc. requires the services of a Project Manager/Project
Leader to provide analysis, design, development, implementation and
sup****t
activities to successfully implement and administer the telephony system
and
infrastructure changes associated with the Telephony project. The
Telephony
project will implement an integrated telecommunication solution to more
effectively. A virtual call centre will be established by networking the
telephone systems implementation of integrated and networked solution of
the
Nortel Meridian 1 PBX's

Location: Oshawa Ontario
Duration: Approximately 240 days

Responsibilities:
..Upgrade of Meridian 1 PBX operating systems
..Production sup****t of current telecommunications services and products
..Upgrade of Meridian Mail voice mail system
..Implementation of networked call distribution system (Symposium)
..Implementation of test lab
..Co-ordinate activities and tasks with the Client's vendors and technical
staff
..Sup****t the implementation of the contact centre solution
The Consultant will be required to:
..Complete work as assigned
..Provide progress/status information to Client Management
..Comply with Client security procedures and practices
..Comply with Client Conflict of Interest, and Confidentiality Guidelines
..Provide skills / knowledge transfer to appropriate Client staff
Mandatory Requirements:
The Consultant must be able to demonstrate superior knowledge of, and
experience in, the following skills, activities, or areas. The knowledge
and
experience must have been gained through work on a project(s) similar in
size and scope to this project.
The following skills are
Mandatory:
..Project Management experience for telecommunications projects with
demonstrated success in managing projects and activities in a Nortel
Meridian environment
..Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Nortel telecommunications
technologies including Meridian PBX, Symposium ACD, Call Pilot and OTM
..Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision
making
skills
..Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Highly Desirable Requirements:
..Acquiring telecommunications products and services following OPS
procurement policies and directives
..Microsoft software packages: Project, Word, Excel, Visio.
..The Consultant must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal tactfully
with staff, clients and vendors and have excellent interpersonal
communication and writing skills
Current Technology Environments
The Client's current voice technology environments are as follows:
Nortel Meridian suite including Succession 3, Symposium ACD, ACD Meridian
MAX,
Symposium Call Centre Server and Web Client, Call Pilot, Switchview, OTM.
