Project Manager-Project Control Officer, J0407-0568 Contract TRM
Technologies Inc. requires the services of a Project Control
Officer/Project
Manager.
Job Type: Contract
Location: Ottawa
Security: Enhanced clearance
Language: English
Responsibilities:
-Defines and do***ents development team objectives
-Determines budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and
responsibilities and terms of reference for the team
-Plans, directs and controls the activities of a project team within
scheduled time and cost parameters
-Monitors the design, implementation and operations startup of the project
against established goals, objectives and milestones
-Re****ts progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled
points
in the life cycle
-Meets in conference with stakeholders and other project managers and
states
problems in a form capable of being solved
-Prepares plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or
displaying problems; works with a variety of project management tools
Requirements:
-Minimum of 4 years IT experience
-Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager
-Proven knowledge of project management procedures
-Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision
-Proven relation****p and team building skills
-Excellent project coordination skills
-Strong analytic/systematic thinking skills
-Agile and adaptable to a fast paced dynamic environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proven computer skills using MS Office Suite 2003 and MS Project 2003
-Ideally this resource should have a MS Project certification
-Ideally this resource would have worked within one medium complexity
project
-Proven experience and competence in a sup****t function within a project
office environment
-Proven experience developing a complex integrated project schedule based
on
multiple sub project plans
