Project Manager;
Project Manager
Requirement: An Audit Project Manager to lead an Internal Audit project
in
the examination and re****ting of a compliance audit of contracting files,
during the period of March 10, 2008 to June 27, 2008.
Education
The résumé of the proposed individual must demonstrate graduation with a
degree from a recognized university, as well as certification of a
professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or an Internal Audit
designation (CIA)
Experience:
Essential Qualifications: The résumé of the proposed individual must
demonstrate:
§ 5 years of experience in conducting internal audits.
§ 5 years of audit project management experience.
§ Extensive knowledge of government contracting policies and
regulations.
§ Ability to analyze complex issues quickly and provide options
and
direction.
§ Ability to communicate and to tactfully resolve issues.
§ Ability to work independently.
Expected Tasks: Lead a team comprised on a junior member in:
§ Conducting an Internal Audit and do***enting the results
according to the Treasury Board Internal Audit Policy and Internal
Auditing
Standards for the Government of Canada;
§ Conducting and do***enting audit interviews, if required;
§ Review and *****sing do***ents;
§ Ensuring sufficient and appropriate evidence to sup****t audit
findings, observations, and conclusions;
§ Completing audit working papers;
§ Drafting an audit re****t, as required
§ Re****ting progress to Director.
