UI Developer
J2Play has the world's most advanced community platform for games that
enables web, pc, and mobile game developers to independently build
their business on top of the social web. The platform enables game
developers to self-publish on social networking sites, engage their
users, virally distribute, analyze, and monetize their games.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Creative Director and the team to refine our social
wrapper interface
- Implementing all UI changes using web technologies
Required Skills:
- Experienced at implementing dynamic web interfaces
- Experience at using GWT (Google Web Toolkit), Java, HTML, CSS,
- Understand best UI practices
- Have an eye for Usability
- Hands-on approach to taking care of engineering challenges
independently and as part of the team in a speedy manner
- Strong comfort working on an established platform and code base
- Highly motivated and self directed with entrepreneurial spirit
- Interested at working in a dynamic start-up company
- Experienced at working with Games (independently or professionally)
Good Skills to have:
- Basic Photoshop skills
- 3 years of Java experience
- Working with Linux
