Flash Developer
J2Play has the world's most advanced community platform for games that
enables web, pc, and mobile game developers to independently build
their business on top of the social web. The platform enables game
developers to self-publish on social networking sites, engage their
users, virally distribute, analyze, and monetize their games.
Responsibilities:
- Taking owner****p of our Flash community toolkit
- Working with the team to develop High Quality API's in Actionscript
(2 and 3)
- Do***enting the API's for external Developers to Use
- Developing simple and easy to use API's to increase uptake of their
usage
- Integrating the API's with games to showcase the technology
- Taking developer feedback to improve the toolkit
- Creating an simplified Multiplayer API for Flash games
Required Skills:
- 3+ Years of professional Actionscript experience or equivalent in
personal projects
- Have developed and FINISHED 1-3 Flash Games
- Knowledge of Network programming is a plus
- Hands-on approach to taking care of engineering challenges
independently and as part of the team in a speedy manner
- Strong comfort working on an established platform and code base
- Highly motivated and self directed with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Interested at working in a dynamic start-up company
- Experienced at working with Games (independently or professionally)
Good Skills to have:
- Writing Multiplayer and or networked Flash Games
- Technical writing skills to do***ent API's and write Tutorials
