Product Manager
J2Play has the world's most advanced community platform for games that
enables web, pc, and mobile game developers to independently build
their business on top of the social web. The platform enables game
developers to self-publish on social networking sites, engage their
users, virally distribute, analyze, and monetize their games.
Responsibilities:
- Working directly with Creative Director, Producer, VP and CEO
- Taking input from the above and managing a development schedule
- Managing the our core product and improving it based on research
- Managing a diverse team developers, QA and artist to deliver new
features
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or
equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Product Manager/ Analyst/
Development role or a
similar position
- Understanding of both the technical and business issues involved in
product
development.
- Proven ability to lead and work with a team
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational and analytical
skills
- Excellent judgment at all levels of decision making
- Highly motivated and self directed with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Interested at working in a dynamic start-up company
- Strong leader****p skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to influence others
Good Skills to have:
- Knowledge of the games industry
- Well versed in Social Networking/ Social Games space
- Technical writing skills is a bonus
- Familiar with viral distribution, engagement, social media concepts
