Senior Software Engineer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other
duties may be assigned.
=B7 Experience in the design of n-tier applications with Visual
Studio .NET 2.0 or later
=B7 3+ years of experience with MS .NET development technologies (C#,
ASP.NET and the .NET Framework)
=B7 Experience with full life-cycle development in a team environment
=B7 Experience with UML tools
=B7 Strong OOP skills and use of design patterns
=B7 Proficiency in requirements definition and n-tier architectures
=B7 Sound technical background with the ability to quickly adapt to
changing technology
=B7 Excellent work ethic with a commitment to accompli****ng goals
=B7 Excellent written and oral communication skills
=B7 Ability to work with others in a team environment and share
technical capabilities with the organization
=B7 Ability to take direction as well as the ability to work
independently or as part of a team on assigned tasks
=B7 The SrSWE must be expert in the use of Quality Assurance processes.
=B7 The SrSWE must be expert in the use of Source Code Control tools and
processes.
=B7 The SrSWE must be expert in the use of Automated Software
Development tools.
=B7 The SrSWE must be expert in the proper application of both flat and
relational data structures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The SrSWE must have the ability to train and mentor more junior SWEs.
The SrSWE must have the ability to participate in the project planning
process.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS with 5 years experience or MS with 3 year experience in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems, or
SWE with at least three years experience. Equivalent industry
experience will be considered on a year for year basis, in lieu of
education requirements.
Must have significant hands-on software development experience,
preferably with a variety of high and low level programming languages,
and operating environments.
