Supplier QA Engineer Responsibilities:
Conduct supplier surveys and monitor supplier performance regarding
quality and delivery
*****s potential new suppliers for inclusion into Approved Supplier
List
Audit and monitor suppliers' quality systems to ensure compliance with
requirements
Verify suppliers' compliance to statement of work and specification
requirements
Work with Design, Purchasing and Production Engineering to d ef ine
and improve supplier parts and manufacturing processes
Investigate, assist with implementation, and verify ef fectiveness of
corrective action for purchased parts, process and hardware problems
Some travel will be required
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Quality Assurance required
Must have experience auditing and evaluating suppliers
Must have knowledge of quality systems ISO9001/AS9100 and auditing
Prior experience in an electronics assembly environment pr ef erred
Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal, written,
organizational, analytical and PC skills
