Summary of Position: You will test and submit to SCM, Interactive
software received from 3rd party vendors, Airborne, WOI. Must have
knowledge in Linux, networking, Web development and high level
languages. Must have good verbal and writing skills. 75% of time spent
testing on racks. Duties: =95 Able to conduct validation and testing of
various software Interactive GUI software. =95 Research Interactive
do***entation to develop a test strategy to ensure delivered content
meets product requirements and objectives. =95 Develop test plans and
procedures to validate software requirements using applicable
requirement and design do***ents. =95 Plan work assignments based upon
the established test plans. =95 Work closely with software developers,
product management, project managers to ensure delivery schedules are
met. =95 Ensure all problems found during testing are dispositional, and
performs regression testing with new software. =95 Keeps management
abreast of current development, integration and test status. =95 Work
with personnel responsible for needed resources =96 Racks, simulators,
LRUs, etc. =95 Sup****t ATP testing. =95 Participate in technical
coordination meetings and design reviews. Interfaces with 3rd party
vendors to ensure delivered software integrates with software
applications and systems. =95 Provide technical information relating to
Interactive software for technical do***entation; author internal
do***entation.
Qualifications Required: - Must know software development life cycle
and the role of testing in the process - Hands-on experience in
software test methodologies and tools - Programming or QA experience
using C++, SQL Server, Linux, PHP - Use of SQL in querying the
database to identify usable test data and verify results - Internet
based application testing, XML, Windows Security, Web Services -
Experience with an automated testing tools - Create test data for use
in testing of electronic, GUI and web processes - Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering,
Information Systems or equivalent and must be familiar with C, C++,
PHP and other higher order languages.
