Java Software Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for Java Developers who thrive in
highly dynamic, creative, and fast-acting development teams. The tech-
savvy individuals that we seek will have experience in Java/J2EE
technologies and a desire to provide innovative solutions for cross-
platform, multi-tiered, enterprise-class solutions. The ideal
candidate will be a self-starter who has a knack for solving complex
software problems and has experience working against aggressive
timeline and project schedules. This person will interact with other
Java developers, QA engineers, and technical leads.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3 to 5 years of experience specifically developing Java-based
applications. * Comprehensive knowledge of J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JMS,
and JDBC. * A solid familiarity with Web Services: SOAP, XML, and
WSDL. * Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other
science-related degree. * Strong verbal and written communication
skills and ability to present technical ideas. * US Citizen****p with a
United States security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice to have:
* Masters in Computer Science or other science-related degree. *
Experience with formal requirements gathering and writing functional
specifications. * Knowledge of technologies such as security,
encryption, wireless, and streaming video. * UI design and development
using MVC patters via Struts, JSF or Swing.
