Sr. SQA Engineer
Approximately, between 50% and 75% of the candidate=92s testing-time
should involve developing or updating automated scripts (typically, in
VB) or developing testing utilities (typically, in C#, C++, or Java).
The successful candidate will display a strong sense of owner****p,
motivation, and attention to detail.
Job Duties: =95 Assist in or perform planning, management, and re****ting
of testing on multiple SW projects =95 Write and execute SW tests.
Carefully analyze and do***ent test results. =95 Work on both non-
regulated and FDA and ISO regulated SW projects =95 Assist software
developers and system owners in designing and performing verification
and validation tests =95 Work with scientists and engineers to deliver
commercial and internal SW systems =95 Collaborate with peers to
identify op****tunities for process improvement =95 Translate manual
tests into automated tests =95 Develop software tools to facilitate
testing =95 Facilitate integration of automated testing throughout the
development process =95 Work with other domain experts and testers to
improve the scalability and predictability of the test effort
Qualifications: =95 B.S. or higher in a science, math, or engineering
related area =95 Experience working in Software Quality Assurance or
Software Engineering =95 At least 4 years automating tests or developing
SW utilizing TestComplete, Rational Robot, Mercury WinRunner/QTP, C#,
or equivalent =95 Familiarity with activities throughout the entire SDLC
=95 Expert level familiarity testing, administrating, and using Windows-
based GUIs
Desired: =95 Experience managing SW development projects =95 Experience in
Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or Bioinformatics =95 Be curious,
detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn
quickly =95 Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking
owner****p of assigned tasks =95 Have proven ability to self-manage, as
well as manage interdisciplinary relation****ps =95 Have proven verbal
and written communication skills =95 Possess proven troubleshooting
skills =95 Have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously =95
Experience in FDA or ISO regulated SW projects =95 Experience
programming in VBScript or C#
