Senior Java Software Engineer
Looking for a Senior Java Developer who thrives in highly dynamic,
creative, and fast-acting development team, but understand the
im****tance of software processes required to build rock-solid
solutions that hold up to the most demanding environments. The tech-
savvy individuals that we seek will have had extensive and in-depth
experience in Java/J2EE technologies and a desire to provide
innovative solutions for cross-platform, multi-tiered, enterprise-
class solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has
demonstrated a knack for solving the impossible and has experience
working against aggressive timeline and project schedules. This person
will interact with Java developers, QA engineers, and senior
management.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10 years of experience of which 5 were specifically developing Java-
based applications. * Expert knowledge of J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets,
JMS, JDBC and Application Servers. * A solid familiarity Web Services:
SOAP, XML, and WSDL. * Experience with backend or embedded RDBMS
systems. * Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability
to present technical ideas. * Bachelors in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or other science-related degree. * US Citizen****p with a
United States security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Nice to have:
* Masters or PhD in Computer Science or other science-related degree.
* Experience with formal requirements gathering and writing functional
specifications. * Strong background managing software builds and
releases using CVS and ANT. * Knowledge of technologies such as
security, encryption, wireless, and streaming video. * UI design and
development using MVC patters via Struts, JSF or Swing. * Complete
familiarity and grasp of RUP or other formal process-based software
development Methodology and process artifacts such as UML and class
diagrams.
