Software Engineer - Performance Analysis
Job Summary: Performance Analysis Engineer =96 modeling, measurement,
analysis of storage systems performance
Essential Functions: Create analytical and simulation models to
predict storage systems performance. Utilize analytical abilities and
software design knowledge to analyze performance of design issues.
Evaluate design alternatives for enhanced performance and measure
product performance to prototype op****tunities for performance
enhancement. Develop performance measurement and analysis tools and
provide instrumentation for measurability. Tune existing designs for
benchmark results and collect measurement information for future
systems development.
Job Requirements Requirements: The qualified candidate will have at
least 3 years of experience and/or training in the performance
analysis of computer storage systems and the development of
performance measurement and analysis tools. In-depth knowledge of
performance analysis tools, techniques, and benchmarking, computer
operating systems and hardware architecture and design, and systems
programming in C is highly desirable. Exceptional presentation and
interpersonal skills are also required. Posting Category Software
Engineering Education and Experience Education and Experience: - A
minimum of 3 years of experience is required. - A Bachelor of Science
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Graduate (MS/PhD) degree
