Programmer/Systems Analyst
Essential Functions:
* Investigates and analyzes systems & procedures to improve
performance and/or solve client problems of a complex nature *
Participate in the process of understanding and translating the client
=B4s business requirements into technical solutions. * Serve as
technical subject matter expert for internal staff and external
clients * Conduct/participate in design and code reviews as well as
testing activities Collaborate in teams and projects to ensure
successful client implementation * Provide assistance to users and
management in the use of existing systems capabilities with focus on
maximum performance * As required, complete do***entation and testing
duties within company standards and practices
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor=B4s degree in Computer Science and 9 to 13 years of related
work experience is required. Solid experience developing in Linux or
Unix platforms is essential. Experience utilizing Python is a bonus. A
combination of education and related work experience may be
substituted for the requirements above.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-
technical audiences * Demonstrated professionalism in developing solid
working relation****ps with peers and customers * Experienced in
mathematical software (algorithms) as well as software development
principles. * Contextual understanding of software applications *
Solid time management skills with high priority on customer service
and meeting competing deadlines * Fluency is Spanish is preferred *
Utilize ingenuity and creativity in developing solutions to complex
problems * Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision and
exercise latitude in decision making
