Supplier Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:
=95 Assist purchasing with supplier selection, development and risk =95
Administer, lead supplier quality / manufacturing audits =95 Root cause
identification =95 Develop and implement improvements for short term and
long term =95 Participate in development and launch of Supply Assurance
program =95 Assist in creation and maintenance of manual database and
transition to purchased software database =95 Compile and analyze data =95
Multi-task and interact effectively within cross-functional teams =95
Teach and coach supply base
Qualifications:
=95 Engineering Degree =95 5-10 years experience =95 Experience in supply
chain management =95 Ability to multi-task =95 Strong Project Management
Skills =95 Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods =95
Understanding of quality tools and metrics =95 Excellent problem solving
skills =95 Excellent verbal and written communication =95 Work
independently and autonomously =95 Flexibility to work overtime,
different ****fts, travel on short notice =95 Frequent domestic and
international travel =95 Knowledge of 1st article, APQP, PPAP =95
Commodity/manufacturing process experience with one or more of
following: hydraulics, steel, castings, fabrication, electrical,
powertrain =95 Quality systems: ISO, TS, QS =95 Proficiency with MS
Office
