Quality Assurance Engineer
Execute the analysis, inspection, design, test and/or integration
required to assure quality on the assigned products, software and
systems consistent with internal and external customer requirements
and business standards of quality and integrity. Improve product and
system quality during the design, development, manufacturing and
delivery of products. *****s develop, implement and sup****t quality
systems that ensure products meet or exceed customers expectations.
* Major Responsibilities * * Provide quality sup****t to ensure product
is ?manufactured in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company
quality requirements. * Develops, applies, and maintains quality
standards for processing materials in accordance with company and
contractual requirements. * Conducts quality assurance tests and
measurements; performs statistical analysis to *****s the cost of, and
determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not
meet required standards and specifications. * Assist in a development
and deployment of a tolerance defect system in QC. * Recommend
corrective action or improvements to satisfy customers. * Ensure rapid
processing and evaluation of all returned products to provide
customers with accurate information on repairs/reworks and root cause
analysis of customer complaints. * Implement an in-process inspection
system to analyze tolerance defects. * Provide program QA sup****t to
manufacturing, engineering and operations. * Assist in the development
of a paperless system. * Monitor and assist departments in maintaining
ISO 9001-2001. * Monitor business metrics and recommend ideas for
continual process improvement. * Improve use of data for a more
effective Certified Supplier Program. * Participate in MRB, ECO, and
drawing review/signoff. * Participate in the Purchase Order Review
process for quality planning to extract the quality requirements to
establish Program QA plan. * Conduct supplier evaluations and surveys
and re****t on results. * Performs product and process validations. *
Participate in Material Review Board activities
* * Educational and Professional Credentials * * Minimum 4 year
technical degree or ASQC certified with 8 years RF Microwave quality
assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent
work experience. * * * Preferred B.S. Engineering, ASQC certified and
10+ years RF Microwave quality experience in a manufacturing
environment, or equivalent work experience. *
