Sr. Software Quality Specialist
Job Description Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, R&D and IT
organizations on effectively deploying Global Policies and Procedures
pertaining to Software Quality through coaching, training and actively
participating on projects with a software element. Participate on
project teams to assure the adequacy and compliance of Software
Quality activities and to provide in-project coaching and training by
example. Collaborate with Quality organizations and Engineering
organizations in St. Louis to assure effective deployment of Global
Policies and Procedures pertaining to Software Quality into their
local Quality Management Systems. Assist Quality organizations to plan
and prioritize their Software Quality activities and to identify their
Software Quality resource needs. Perform Software Process *****sments
to facilitate software process improvement initiatives. Shares SQA
best practices through collaboration with peers at other locations.
Qualifications A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related
technical degree. 3+ years hands-on experience with Software Quality
in a GxP regulated environment in addition to 4+ years experience as a
Software Engineer. 2+ years experience with auditing (Software)
Quality Management Systems. Solid experience with leading successful
teams, maintaining schedules, dealing with resource constraints,
providing guidance, and with identifying and recommending changes to
established practices. Experience with remote teams would be a plus
but no pre-requisite. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and a
strong technical leader/mentor who persistently follows through on
projects. Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal
skills. ISO and GxP training. ISO 9000:2000 Auditor training
preferred. ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) would be a
plus but no pre-requisite. SEI SW-CMM training would be a plus but no
pre-requisite.
