I have a op****tunity in Ottawa looking a Senior Tester with the following
skills:
The services of a Senior Tester are required to plan and perform testing
in
various testing environments in sup****t of application development,
technical releases and production/ maintenance fixes. Tasks may include
but
are not limited to:
Ÿ Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, test cycles,
automated test scripts, test results analysis, re****ting, and risk
analysis
in sup****t of application development and maintenance;
Ÿ Design, develop, do***ent and execute test plans for confidence
tests, smoke tests, functional tests, regression tests, system integration
testing, and performance tests;
Ÿ Develop data test beds and scenarios;
Ÿ Prepare, conduct, or participate in walkthroughs that are
related
to testing and implementation readiness;
Ÿ Prepare do***entation describing test procedures, test data,
expected outcomes, software versioning information, release notices, and
update procedures;
Ÿ Execute test plans and re****t test results;
Ÿ Provide written re****ts, analyses, and technical and procedural
do***ents for peers, end users, and management;
Ÿ Become familiar with the projects by reviewing application
systems, do***entation such as Project Charters, Plans, Models, Prototype,
Business, and System Use Cases;
Ÿ Provide testing impacts (estimates) of System Use Cases, Change
Requests, Problem Re****ts, and system platform modifications;
Ÿ Participate in workshops, working groups, and client meetings;
and
Coach and mentor test teams on testing methods, best practices, client
service, and testing tools.
Duration: 6 months x 3
