Senior Business Analysts
Our St. John's based client is currently seeking a Senior Business
Analyst for this contract op****tunity to gather, collate and analyze
business requirements and ensure the development of effective
technical solutions.
Re****ting to the Business Planning Manager, IT, this position is
responsible for acting as a liaison between the Solutions
Delivery team, and the Business system owners and users. Any
experience within the health sector would be a bonus.
Core Responsibilities:
- Gather and maintain business information requirements needed to
generate technical specifications for the delivery of in house and
third party application solutions.
- Sup****t the Systems Analyst's leader****p in the creation and
maintenance of all system do***entation, which must include, but is
not limited to, procedure and manuals and system designs.
- Understand, analyze, and communicate business requirements to the
technical resources and third party vendors.
- *****s, develop, and rationalize business processes in the context
of technology solutions.
- Assist the system owner to perform cost benefit analysis activities
throughout the systems development lifecycle.
- Provide accurate *****sments and estimates for business
participation in project and release plans, with focus on testing and
verification of the delivered system.
Key Assets and Competencies:
- University Degree in Business or Technology (or equivalent).
- 4 - 8 years of progressive experience in analysis, design and
implementation of complex computer systems
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Strong logical and analytical skill set
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Task, detail and deadline oriented
