Senior Systems Analyst
Our St. John's based government client is currently seeking a Senior
Systems Analyst for this 12-18 month contract op****tunity.
Candidates must have a minimum of more than 4 years of experience as a
Systems Analyst
Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
- Evaluates enterprise architecture, existing procedures and methods;
determines consistency and integration with business strategies; and
recommends changes to the business architecture to improve alignment
and eliminate redundancies
- Analyses existing capabilities and requirements; develops redesigned
frameworks and recommends areas for improved capability and
integration
- Develops business cases, requirements, feasibility, cost, design,
and specification do***ents recommends areas for improved capability
and integration
- Identifies and advises on business and technology trends that create
op****tunities for business improvement; models "What if" scenarios and
recommends appropriate changes; recommends alternative solutions,
methodologies and strategies
- Serves as project manager on small to mid scale sized projects
- Assists management personnel in planning and co-ordinating the
development of systems
- Translates business requirements into systems design and
specifications; analyses and recommends alternatives and options for
solutions
- Develops technical specifications for systems development, design
and implementation such as design do***ents, requirements analyses,
etc
- Supervises staff throughout the development lifecycle to ensure
successful system completion as per schedule
- Implements systems to sup****t projects, departments, organizations
or businesses
- Prepares and presents project status re****ts for systems; develops
communication plans
