Security Specialist - St. John's Nfld.
TekSource Canada is currently seeking a Security Specialist for it's
provincial government client. This eight (8) month contract
op****tunity begins May 5th. and ends December 31st. 2008
A resource is required to:
- Review and *****s the Information Security Classification draft
under consideration by client and recommend any necessary changes in
content and/or approach.
- Develop a detailed implementation plan for an Information Security
Classification, including development and implementation of a pilot.
Must Have:
Experience implementing an Information Security Classification (or
similar standard) and should be able to work remotely and with minimal
supervision, while coordinating and consulting with client staff and
contractors and relevant contacts from other government departments
and jurisdictions as required. Resource will be responsible for
completing any necessary do***entation under the client=92s Project
Management Framework and providing regular status re****ts to the
Information Protection Project Manager.
The plan should take into consideration the necessary resources
(human, hardware and software) and the required timeline,
communications and change management to ensure successful adoption and
implementation of the Classification. It should ensure engagement of
key stakeholders, to be determined, and facilitation of appropriate
approvals as required.
The resource should be able to be accommodated by the vendor, with
time spent at client and other government sites as required for
interviews and meetings only. The resource will be provided with a
computer and other technology required to provide a secure work
environment
