Job description: Functional Title: SQL Server Developer
Position Description:Responsibilities:
* Architect and build web-based trading systems for our Equities clients
and trading teams
* Help maintain our production, high-scalability web platform
* Work on a small team in a high-paced, business-aligned environment
* Contribute to the full application lifecycle of our trading systems
* Work closely with users to understand their requirements and our
business
Requirements:
* Must have very strong TSQL development skills
* Experience performance tuning stored procedures and working with VLDBs.
* Knowledge of transactional replication
* Data modelling experience with tools such as ERWIN
* Administration experience working with backup/recovery and security
* Provide production database sup****t in a high availability, fast paced
environment
* Experience with OLAP and Perl a plus.
* Financial Industry experience is beneficial, but not required.
