QA Analyst
Our Halifax client is looking for a talented QA Analyst to carry out
testing activities to ensure all deliverables and releases are done to
specification and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
=95 Identify/define how testing for the project will be conducted
=95 Define what exactly will be tested and how
=95 Preparation and do***enting any set up work needed for specific
test, i.e. Data preparation for specific scenario tests
=95 Execute tests as do***ented in the test case (QC)
=95 Log bugs and work with Developers in resolving them
=95 Retesting and closing bugs when they have been resoled
=95 Keeping clear records of all bugs identified, producing progress
re****ts on a regular basis
=95 Ensure all regression scripts are kept up to date in accordance with
specified functionality
=95 Update all regression do***ents when new functionality is released
=95 Execute regression test cases as part of overall build process
Experience:
=95 2-4 years QA/Testing experience in a technology/led company, working
as part of QA/Testing team
=95 Good understanding of QA processes and the Software Development
Lifecycle
=95 Exposure of issue management and bug lifecycle
=95 Familiarity with translating business/functional requirements into
test cases
=95 Knowledge of SQL (preferably Oracle) and testing tools (preferably
Mercury)
