City Engineer
BIG BEAR LAKE, CA
Salary: $90,950 - 90,950 / Annually
Job Type: Full Time

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
This position is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and
monitoring Public Works/Engineering projects, including contract
work; provides plan checking and permitting services, and
addresses citywide and regional infrastructure issues to ensure
all projects and specifications are in compliance with applicable
local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and contracts.
Develops RFP's; develops, evaluates and implements City
infrastructure and Capital Improvement programs, prepares staff
re****ts and presentations for City Manager/City Council review;
develops the budget for the Engineering Division and makes
appropriate recommendations. This position re****ts to the
Development Services Director.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, five
years progressively responsible public sector experience in
Engineering, including two years of management, or supervisory
experience. Registration as a California Civil Engineer is
required.
