Exciting op****tunity to join a stable growing software company as 
a member of a great inside sales team.  This position will 
pre-qualify potential customers and provide customer service 
where needed.  Whether you?re a seasoned inside sales 
representative or if you ever wanted to get into sales or break 
into the software industry- Now is your chance!

This role will manage an assigned territory within a business 
unit team for the purpose of lead development.  They will have 
achieved certifications as a generalist and a specialist and will 
fulfill the ongoing requirements of these certifications.  They 
are considered an expert in lead development for their assigned 
area.  They will manage their assigned territory to meet or 
exceed all targets.  As a member of the Lead Development team at 
large, they will frequently be responsible for answering 
generalist requests for areas outside of their assignment and 
also acting in the best interest of the team.  Occasionally, 
Specialists will be asked to contribute to departmental training 
and conducting quarterly departmental updates specific to their 
assigned specialty.  This position is designed for individuals 
who demonstrate a high commitment to our business and have 
demonstrated a technical aptitude in their assigned line of 
business.  They must have successfully completed the Solution 
Specialist certification and met the length of service 
requirements as an Associate Solution Specialist.

Experience:
Must have achieved the Sage Lead Development Certification for 
Generalist and Solution Specialist I

Some college coursework is required with a BS/BA desirable

Requires a combination of four to five years of sales or 
telesales experience and a general knowledge of telesales 
practices and principles.  Software industry experience is 
required.

Must have a good understanding of computer systems, operating 
environments and software.  

Requires a working knowledge of MS Office.

Requires proficiency in Vantive or other CRM systems.

Excellent planning, time management, communications, problem 
solving, decision making and organizational skills

Requires exceptional and professional phone etiquette including 
speed, tone, and choice of words.

Must have the ability to rapidly gain in-depth understanding of 
existing and new Sage products and markets.

Requires strong oral and written communication skills, strong 
listening skills, and detailed and accurate record keeping. 
Writing must clearly communicate interaction with prospect.

Must have demonstrated an ability to work effectively within a 
collaborative environment.

Must have demonstrated an ability to respond effectively to 
multiple conflicting priorities. The ability to continuously 
prioritize and reprioritize deliverables and to respond to 
unexpected changes is also required.

Requires strong problem solving skills.

Significant ****tions of job may require extended sedentary 
periods and extended periods of keyboarding and telephone 
activity. Requires visual acuity.

Infrequent domestic travel may be required.

CRM Knowledge A Plus.
