The candidate will ideally have completed at least 3 years of
mechanical engineering course work.
This is an exciting op****tunity for a dynamic engineer to gain full
exposure to all aspects of product design and development. The intern
will interface directly with Senior Design Engineers and the CEO of
the company and will fully participate in product design and
development meetings.
Tasks will include designing plastic and sheet metal parts in
Solidworks using the best modeling practice, detailing manufacturing
drawings, creating Bill of Materials, assigning part number schemes,
etc. Other responsibilities will include working with test engineers
to create test procedures to validate key aspects of new product
designs.
Skills:
=95 Good to excellent Solidworks
=95 Must be mechanically inclined and comfortably with prototype
assembly.
=95 Able to perform and do***ent testing.
=95 Good presentation and communication skills
=95 Attention to detail
=95 Good Time management skills
=95 Previous work experience in a design environment is desirable
Salary: $10-12 per hour based on experience
