Title: Network Administrator
Salary: 75k
The job would be most attractive to a candidate who lives either within or
to the west of Toronto. The head office is based in Oakville at the QEW
and
Dorval drive.
The company is an established North American firm, providing IT sup****t
services and consulting to a growing client base. We are looking for an
experienced and client focused IT Sup****t Technician to serve our
clientele
at all levels from top executives to receptionists. Our clients' IT savvy
ranges from basic to very high and most are in the professional service
sector.
Your technical knowledge is just part of your skill set. You must be able
to think on your feet - prioritizing, collaborating, delegating. Your
written and verbal communications skills in English are excellent and you
demonstrate confidence in what you do. Your maturity is evident from your
courteous nature and polished professionalism.

It involves do***enting findings and proposed solutions; communicating
said
solution or options to our client in terms that they can understand and
relate to.

Requirements
Technical
· Microsoft Certified Professional or similar designation (XP or 2003
preferred)
· Minimum two years of related experience (providing technical sup****t to
clients)
· Installation and sup****t knowledge of Microsoft 2000/2003 Server
· Solid knowledge of MS Windows XP Professional, Internet software,
electronic mail (Exchange 200/2003) and networking
· Installation and sup****t knowledge for firewall devices (e.g. SonicWALL,
NetGear, Linksys etc.)
· Ability to configure VPN's
· Strong knowledge of MS Office suite

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
· Able to work well with your team, to focus on team goals and to be
patient
with others
· Open, flexible and creative with time management and scheduling
challenges.

Job Responsibilities
· Attend client sites daily to provided hands-on IT sup****t
· Understand and recommend solutions to a customer's business problem.
· Troubleshoot end user issues as they relate to thin-client, desktop,
laptop, server or network equipment.
· Provide end user training and other sup****t services as required.
Do***ent client issues and resolutions
· Attend team meetings.
· Maintain accurate records and keep daily timesheets current.
