Position Status: Permanent Full Time
Department:  Senior Manager of Operations
Location:  Orangeville


The Financial & Administrative Solutions Division of  Cor****ation is
looking
for an experienced Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent
basis.
This position is based in Orangeville.

Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing plans to
ensure
achievement of client Service Level Agreement targets, internal quality
and
cost objectives for multiple Payment Processing accounts within the
Orangeville operation.  The successful candidate would also be responsible
for the overall administration and management of multiple processing
functions. The Manager plays a key role in ensuring that the department
operates in accordance within contractual statement of work (SOW) and has
sufficient management controls to ensure maximum utilization of available
resources.

Responsibilities:
§ Directs and coordinates various processes to ensure that they are
carried
out in an integrated manner, consistent with the operation's goals and
objectives.
§ Establishes accountability, sets production targets and monitors
subordinates' performance.
§ Ensures reworks and customer complaints are minimized and that staff are
aware of quality control standards and targets.
§ Develops and presents production volume forecasts including variance
analysis and *****ses the need for corrective courses of action.
§ Prepares and presents production schedules to ensure that each
processing
department has sufficient capacity to meet current and forecasted volumes.
§ Meets with HR personnel to address approved hiring, training and
staffing
requirements.
§ Introduces process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and
continually reviews all aspects of the operations in an effort to control
and reduce costs.
§ Develops and implements improvement plans to ensure a high level of
customer satisfaction.
§ Monitors technology changes and their impact on the operations'
productivity and quality.
§ Reviews the competency levels of employees to ensure the operations have
sufficiently trained, multi-skilled personnel to meet daily, weekly, and
monthly production targets.
§ Maintains accurate and current files on all employees regarding skill
level, performance targets and results of compensation reviews.
§ Tracks and monitors attendance results of employees with a target of 98%
attendance/punctuality.
§ Takes appropriate actions to encourage continuous learning while
minimizing production interruptions.
§ Initiates and conducts staff meetings to keep employees informed of the
changing business requirements and to address staff issues.
§ Leads the team by example with respect to professionalism, customer
focus
(internal and external) and timely deliveries.
§ Ensures that all Operations function in accordance to Cor****ate Health &
Safety policies including training and informing staff on Health and
Safety
policies and guidelines.
§ Participates in volume, production forecasting, annual budgeting process
and operational planning sessions.
§ Other duties and functions as assigned.

Required Competencies:
§ Minimum3 - 5 years operations management experience, preferably in the
banking industry.
§ Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with
understanding of departmental workflows. (process mapping and
do***entation
skills)
§ Superior oral and written communication skills.
§ Demonstrated leader****p skills with the ability to motivate
§ Capable of client interaction and excellent customer service skills.
§ Change management skills. (planning)
§ Financial industry experience an asset
§ Understanding of financial management and budgets
§ Flexible, reliable, conscientious and able to follow directions.
§ Ability to work independently and in a team.
§ Highly motivated, organized and innovative.
§ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

Special Requirement:
This job has access to Protected B data and as a result the successful
applicant will require their Personal Enhanced Reliability Check (PERC)
clearance, prior to commencing work.
