The IT Manager will be responsible for directing IT projects and
operations sup****t for our client=92s Ottawa office (approximately 475
professionals and staff). Responsibilities will include but not be
limited to supervising and coordinating the activities of a full
service IT department (Help Desk, Training, Application Sup****t,
Networks / Infrastructure), establish operational priorities and daily
work schedules, facilitate appropriate communication within the
department, and ensure adequate and optimal functionality of all IT
sup****t services and systems.
The IT Manager will also be called upon to identify op****tunities to
streamline and improve business processes, ensure adherence to our
client=92s technology and security policies, and create and track
purchase requests, orders and price negotiations within the framework
of the office technology budget.
This position requires an organized individual with strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
environment. The candidate must be detail oriented, possess excellent
time and project management abilities, and have a demonstrated track
record for delivering innovative solutions and superior customer
service in previous Management roles. The candidate must have a high
level of proficiency in the English language for both verbal and
written communications in order to be considered.
