~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Primary duties are to work with clients, resource agencies,
environmental and technical staff to develop and implement
appropriate analytical approaches for complex water resource
projects; develop/define data analysis procedures and perform
statistical, mathematical and computer model based technical
analysis of hydrology, hydraulics, operations, temperature, power
and biological project components. Perform archival/electronic
research to obtain data, do***ents and other information to be
compiled, summarized, and/or integrated directly into materials
that pertain to assigned project deliverables. Characterize
environmental resource issues and prepare narrative sections
(e.g., analytical methodology of CEQA, NEPA and ESA do***ents;
conduct quantitative impact analyses and qualitative evaluations
on a variety of resource topics.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
<P>BS/BA: Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Civil Engineering,
Water Resources or related Field Knowledge of and familiarity
with the technical evaluation of surface water and/or groundwater
using hydrologic and conceptual modeling (e.g., CALSIM II, OASIS,
DSM2, IGSM); knowledge of data collection, interpretation,
reduction, analysis and presentation. </P> <P>3+ years related
experience</P> <P>Ability to effectively communicate in written
and oral form; high proficiency in technical writing, critical
thinking and analytical skills im****tant </P> <P>Detail oriented,
flexible, and adaptable to effectively perform tasks
independently and on multidisciplinary teams in a fast-pasted,
changing environment. </P>
