SQA Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
* Develop software for automating whitebox or blackbox testing *
Develop and execute test plans and test cases * Test IP Telephony
related products interacting with Cisco Call Manager, by using QA/Test
Automation Tools. * Design and update automated tests using UI
automation tools i.e. Silk, WinRunner etc. * Effectively reproduce,
log and track product defects to resolution. * Work closely with
product management, solutions consulting, and software development to
deliver industry-leading IPT testing and management solutions.
Job Requirements
* BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication
Engineering or Computer Science. * 2-4 years experience testing
Enterprise IP Telephony/PBX software & applications (e.g. Cisco,
Avaya, Nortel etc.) in a structured setting. * Experience in designing
and developing automated tests in Java and XML, experience in using
Eclipse or similar IDE. * Hands-on experience required in testing
applications using Enterprise IP Telephony, LAN/WAN. * Familiarity
with Java Telephony API (JTAPI), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI),
application servers (JBOSS) and web servers (Tomcat) a plus. *
Experience with UI automation tools like Segue Silk, Mercury Test
Director preferred. * Full understanding of QA methodology and related
processes. * Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple
tasks. * Ability to interact creatively and achieve results in a
dynamic small company environment.
