Oracle Senior Programmer Analyst
# Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
preferred. Oracle Developer or DBA Certification a plus.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: # RDBMS - Oracle 8i/9i. # Operating System - UNIX,
Windows XP. # Oracle Tools - Developer 6i (Forms & Re****ts), PL/SQL,
SQL*Plus, Workflow Builder (2.5/2.6). # Other Tools - TOAD, SQL
Navigator, Rational Clear Case, Visual Source Safe, UNIX Shell
Scripting. Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: # Analyzes user
specifications and requirements. Encodes, tests, debugs, and do***ents
programs on large-scale, complex projects . Revises and updates
programs and do***entation as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: # Sup****t existing Oracle
functionality for Supply Chain, being an active participant in the
full life cycle development process for new business initiatives as it
relates to Oracle Applications RICE elements (Re****ts, Interfaces,
Conversions and extensions).
# Review functional requirements with Supply Chain users and develop
technical specification as required.
# Design, develop, do***ent and unit test all new code enhancements to
the existing Oracle Applications product suite.
# May manage consultants on a project by project basis or assist in
the managing of consultants technical assignments.
# Work directly with Oracle Sup****t in the management of TARs and
coordinate any patch or code deployments with DBA's and the
infrastructure team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of 5 years experience using Oracle
Development tools preferably in an Oracle E-Business Suite/11i
environment (Apps: 11.5.10. RDBMS 9i).
* 2-5 years experience sup****ting one or more of the following Oracle
modules from a technical prospective. Supply Chain (OM, CRM, OSFM,
INV, Advanced Pricing, PO).
* Manufacturing (WIP, BOM, Shop Floor Management, Advanced Planning
and Scheduling).
* Strong working knowledge of Oracle Applications architecture. Hands
on knowledge of Oracle Workflow a major plus.
Qualifications/Work Experience QUALIFICATIONS: # Strong communications
skills.
# Must be able to write technical specifications based on functional
business requirements.
# Must be able to work directly with business segment users at all
levels.
# Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Applications (Financials,
Supply Chain or Manufacturing) a major plus but not required.
