DG611-3700<br> This position is responsible for the planning,
managing, and administration of integrated logistics strategies
and processes, to include related system disciplines, such as
sup****tability, reliability, maintainability, human factors,
system safety, total owner****p cost, etc. Ensures that customer
operations and maintenance requirements and objectives are
achieved within budgets and schedules, and that there is
continuous improvement of standard logistics engineering
processes, such as reliability-centered maintenance,
readiness-based sparing, and level of repair analysis. Builds
customer relation****ps with logistics initiatives, such as
performance-based logistics; failure re****ting, analysis, and
corrective action system; and item unique identification.
Integrates learning from customers, competitors, cross-functional
departments, other industries, industry groups, and professional
training to continuously improve competitive position. Works with
engineers and engineering managers to ensure that sup****tability
issues are given a voice in system design, and recommends design
changes that improve system operations and reduce maintenance
burden and, hence, enhance customer satisfaction for the life of
the system. Provide leader****p in attracting, developing,
training, managing, and retaining human resources.

Minimum Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelors degree in
business administration, engineering, or a related discipline and
six or more years of progressively more complex logistics
experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment as well as
three or more years of experience managing logistics processes.
Additional equivalent logistics experience may be substituted in
lieu of education. Technical writing experience for defense
electronic systems is considered equivalent experience. Must have
a complete understanding of the principles, concepts, theories,
and practices of logistics engineering management; experience
demonstrating a complete application of those practices,
techniques, models, and standards; as well as comprehensive
project management and leader****p skills, including organizing,
planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet
established deadlines or m
