FB611-4025<br> The manufacturing engineer is responsible for
implementation of manufacturing technology in an aerospace
composites manufacturing environment. Must be able to estimate
budgets, establish schedules and maintain status of capital
projects. Specific duties and actions will include:
Implementing, programming and maintaining a laser projection
system to locate material in assemblies; setup and programming of
a five-axis milling machine for machining materials such as foam,
honeycomb and composite parts; sup****t for large scale metrology
operations including use of a laser tracker with Verisurf
software to perform such operations as rigging of parts and jigs,
do***entation of as-built configuration, and digization to
sup****t the projection system. The manufacturing engineer shall
also perform a liaison function between the manufacturing,
quality and engineering departments.

Minimum Qualifications:<br> To perform in this position
successfully, the candidate must have a B.S. Degree in Mechanical
Engineering or Manufacturing Technology or other related field
and 8 plus years of experience in aerospace mechanical
manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a good working
knowledge of large scale metrology instruments (e.g. laser
trackers, levels, transits, CMM's) and software(e.g. Verisurf or
Spatial Analyzer), CAD / CAM technology, and aerospace
manufacturing methods. Must be able to work in a collaborative
work environment where team activity and interaction is the
norm.<br> <br> Desirable Qualifications:<br> The candidate shall
be familiar with 3D CAD / CAM software including Verisurf,
Rhino3D, MasterCAM, ProEngineer and others.<br> Candidate should
have excellent time management skills and be able to intuitively
recognize manufacturing process prob
