Consulting Engineer in DataBase
Looking for a senior software engineer to develop and maintain new
releases of the product. The successful candidate will work on a wide
variety of projects. Projects will range from integration with other P8
products, operating system and database integration, to do***ent
storage interface work. Responsibilities will include requirements
gathering, writing functional and design specifications, coding, code
reviews, unit testing, integration and QA sup****t. We are looking for a
high-powered, software engineer who understands and drives the "big
picture" while able roll up their sleeves and implement these
designs.
Skills Required: Candidate must have strong analytical, organizational
and communication skills. Must be a self-starter, team player and good
problem solver. Must be able to understand and design solutions
utilizing complex data structures in a multi-tasking, shared memory and
client-sever architecture. Candidate must have solid debugging skills.
Must be a team player and possess solid writing and communication
skills.
Experience Required: Experience on 2 or more significant projects with
critical responsibilities. Candidate must have designed and implemented
2 or more products utilizing complex data structures in a
multi-tasking, shared memory and client-server architecture. Ten to
twenty years SW development experience. Ten years "C" development.
Ten years combined experience developing commercial UNIX and Windows
applications. Five years experience developing commercial applications
using Oracle, SQL Server or DB2. MS degree in Computer Science
preferred. BS degree in Computer Science is required.
