Senior Data Warehouse Analyst/Developer
Sup****t the full implementation of Business Objects Enterprise Data
Warehouse. Interpret Business Intelligence requirements and translate
them into an effective Data Warehouse design using Dimensional Modeling
techniques. Perform source system analysis and design mapping logic
between source systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Analyze data
in source systems to *****s data cleanliness and make recommendations
for addressing within the source systems or as part of the ETL process
Experience & Technical Skills: 7+ years of Information Technology
experience, with at least 5 years experience in managing large, complex
transactional and DW/BI projects from inception through implementation.
Strong Data Warehouse knowledge and Data Modeling Skills - Ability to
apply normalization concepts, and understand the trade-offs between
different schema designs. Proven experience in designing Star Schemas,
re****ting and analytics for enterprise data warehouse implementations.
Experience with data modeling software (Erwin preferred) Extensive
experience with ETL mapping (Business Objects Data Integrator
preferred) Experience in Oracle/SQL Server relational database system,
including database design and stronger SQL skills - Working knowledge
of Oracle 10G desired Experience with Business Objects product suite
desired. Non-Technical Skills Proven business analysis skills Proven
track record of effectively delivering results in a fast paced
environment while managing multiple priorities Project management
skills desired - process and methodology-based; must be highly
organized Knowledge of finance and basic data reconciliation desired
Experience with PeopleSoft applications preferred
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or
equivalent
