JT611-3868<br> Fabrication of composite parts using epoxy resins,
fiberglass, carbon and Kevlar fabrics, structural utilizing
prepreg and wet lay-up procedures. Trimming of composite parts
per blueprint tolerances. Follow planning and accurately fill out
and complete work orders. Assist in the lay-up of composite
materials to molds. Assist in the development of shop aids to
facilitate fabrication, trimming and assembly as required. Tool
prep and debagging of composite parts. Other duties and
assignments as required.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Minimum Qualifications:<br> High school diploma or AA degree or
equivalent with up one year of related experience or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to
read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence,
memos, detailed blueprints and other similar authorized drawings
and do***ents. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in
all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Must be able to become certified to wear a respirator
and be able to work in a loud environment. Must be able to use
hand tools such as rollers, paper cutters, scissors, x-acto
knives, electric heat gun and fixtures such as molds and
mandrels. Ability to use calipers, micrometers and precision
scales. Physically able to perform layup, trim, cutting and
sanding operations as well as lift tools and assemblies weighing
up to 60 pounds.
