SU611-3806<br> Perform computer assisted design and drafting
tasks in sup****t of ground control station design for Unmanned
Air Vehicles. Interact with engineers to develop GCS assembly
layouts, establish critical interface requirements, select
materials and establish fabrication methods. Prepare first
article drawings for fabrication. Work with shop personnel to
sup****t first article builds. Establish bills of materials.
Perform various mechanical design tasks related to demonstrated
competencies as directed.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Minimum Qualifications:<br> Associate's degree or equivalent. May
substitute equivalent experience in the field. Typical minimum
experience is eight years. Experienced in all aspects of
mechanical design drafting techniques and skills of advanced
level using 3D CAD solid modeling. Must have 3 years experience
with Pro/E CAD software, 5 years in solid modeling CAD. Must
know Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Must be able to
develop design solutions and generate mechanical assemblies and
be familiar with ground control station equipment. Must have
good hands on machine and assembly shop knowledge. <br> <br>
Desirable Qualifications: Prefer a minimum ten years overall
design experience supplemented by college courses or equivalent.
Experience in rack assembly, hardware, mounting electrical
components with regard for form, fit and function. Cable design
