Software Quality Assurance
=B7 Lead complex software testing projects across multiple applications
=B7 Own testing environments and processes
=B7 Provide estimates of work efforts associated with project
initiatives
=B7 Create project plans and team assignments
=B7 Manage team expectations and performance
=B7 Guide, lead and mentor team members
=B7 Ensure overall deliverable quality
=B7 Understand application integration points and data flows
=B7 Ensure overall data integrity across the testing process
=B7 Oversee the preparation of test plans and test scripts
=B7 Ensuring compliance to testing standards and procedures
=B7 Participate in analysis, walk-throughs, inspections, code reviews
and user group meetings
=B7 Administer change control process for zero defect software
development
=B7 Administer problem management process, including monitoring and
re****ting on problem resolution
=B7 Ensure resolution to issues as required
=B7 Communicate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior
management, team members and the business community
=B7 Collaborate effectively with Systems Analysis and Software
Development teams to drive strong results
=B7 Gather metrics and publish status re****ts
=B7 Ensure post mortems are held, process improvements do***ented and
incor****ated in the quality assurance process
=B7 Conduct process improvement sessions
Qualifications Candidates will possess:
=B7 5 + years of experience managing technology professionals
=B7 Experience managing teams of 10 + people
=B7 Proven ability to guide, lead and advise staff by providing clear
and accurate information
=B7 Demonstrated success managing software testing in a complex systems
environment
=B7 Experience testing data flows and system interfaces (i.e., not GUIs)
=B7 Experience with data integrity
=B7 Previous experience working with high-volume, transaction processing
software applications
=B7 Involvement with PeopleSoft, Mercury QTP or Billing applications
desirable
=B7 Exhibits strong project management skills
=B7 Demonstrated success establi****ng effective working relation****ps
with Senior Management, Technology and Business audiences
=B7 Proven track record of driving value-added business contributions
=B7 Excellent communication skills
=B7 Proven analytical and problem solving skills
=B7 Interest in and aptitude for continual learning
=B7 Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
