Quality Analyst
:: Responsibilities:
* Expertise at functionality, technology and end-to-end IT processes
associated with Enterprise Financial Applications * 2+ years experience
with an automation scripting language. This is less critical if you
have solid programming experience in at least one language * Excellent
written and verbal communication skills, as exemplified by clear
bug/issue explanations, do***entation of knowledge, and effective
intra- and inter-group communications * Experience in short release
cycles, the full software lifecycle, and have worked on a product that
was actually released for public consumption
:: Required Skills/Experience:
* Bachelors Degree, with 2+ yrs QA and testing experience, including
functional, integration, performance and structural testing *
Background in business process analysis, system requirements, as well
as data modeling and detailed functional design * Experience with
Oracle Financials is a must * Deep knowledge of business applications,
with a focus on SFA systems, eCommerce systems, and revenue/billing/OM
systems. Salesforce.com, Supply Chain, and ERP experience, a plus. *
Has demonstrated ability to work with teams to identify and analyze
process improvement op****tunities and define resulting technology
solutions. Expert understanding of systems analysis, including root
cause analysis, and other process modeling and systems design
methodologies * Solid project management skills * Ability to learn
quickly in a dynamic environment * Excellent spoken and written
communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to
present complex ideas in a clear, concise fa****on to technical and
non-technical audiences. * Excellent team player able to work with
virtual and global cross functional teams. * Strong knowledge of
Database interface and SQL * Experience with shell/perl scripting *
Experience in multi-platform testing (Windows, UNIX, LINUX) * Solid
knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java and XML/SOAP * Ability to juggle
multiple projects and tasks * Ability to work with deadlines and in a
fast paced environment
:: Desired Skills/Experience:
* Excellent, creative problem-solving skills * Experience with Use Case
modeling or similar modeling techniques * Knowledge of web
applications, databases (preferably Oracle), SQL, and Java is a big
plus * Experience taking a consultative approach with clients or
internal customers
