JOB TITLE: AVP, Advertising Compliance
LOCATION: San Diego, US-CA

SALARY : $90000 - $110000
DESCRIPTION:
Assistant Vice President, Advertising Compliance
This key member of our growing Compliance department will be responsible
for
the design, development, and management of advertising compliance
programs,
plans and procedures. This involves working closely with our financial
advisors
and management to identify needs; managing ongoing regulatory
relation****ps
related to advertising compliance; participating in examinations and
inquiries;
and reviewing, analyzing and communicating new laws and regulations to
staff
management. The AVP, Advertising Compliance will also be responsible for
managing staff members, including implementing training programs to
educate new
hires and continually promote further professional development of current
staff.
This role requires extensive knowledge of NASD and SEC rules regarding
Advertising, sales literature and correspondence along with financial
industry
product knowledge. Series 7, 24 required. Ideal candidate will possess
strong
leader****p skills with demonstrable experience mentoring and motivating
teams.
Must have experience managing ongoing departmental projects and possess
strong
follow-up skills. Requirements also include: exceptional verbal and
written
communication skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to
effectively
build strong working relation****ps with other compliance units; ability to
work
effectively in fast-paced, growing environment. Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent
work experience required.
