Summary: Follow up on material purchases: Assist in monitoring
purchase orders and expedites supplies to achieve on time
deliveries.
Essential Functions: Coordinate with buyers and sub contracts
administrators to identify material purchases having critical
delivery schedules or requiring expediting. Set up and update
daily files providing information regarding back orders of
critical material shortages.
Work closely with the suppliers with follow up on status re****ts
on open or past due orders. Input all supplier follow up notes
and coordinate with buyer the shortages. Expedite purchased
hardware and shortage items to ensure sup****t of production
schedule. Ac***ulate and coordinate data, prepare and/or process
input for re****ts, maintain records and files. Work on
assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to
recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Verify data received and make necessary corrections. Consolidate
data in areas of responsibility for inclusion in department
re****ts. Maintain files and records related to specific re****ting
activity. May compile, record, and track pertinent data on
computer system. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations
and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business
is conducted on behalf of the company. Expect to work in a safe
manner in accordance with established operating procedures and
practices

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent plus
0-2 years experience in a Purchasing/Production Control
environment. Requires good written and oral communication skills
and the ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner.
Knowledge of computer operations and applications. Must be
self-motivated.
Desirable Qualifications:
Working with aircraft or unmanned air vehicles is preferred.
Knowledge of MRP systems (WDS a plus) and aircraft manufacturing.
