~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
CF611-3515<br> Assemble, wire, solder, rework and modify complex 
electronics and electrical assemblies, chassis, control boards 
and consoles.  Perform standard or repetitive production assembly 
operations on electronic assemblies and subassemblies and RF 
cable assemblies using wire stripping, crimping and soldering 
tools.  Perform all aspects of PCB assembly such as kiting, 
stuffing, soldering, touch-up cleansing, board modification, and 
component replacement.  Perform ring-out of wiring installation.  
Work from engineering drawings, diagrams and general 
instructions.  May set up and fabricate printed circuits and 
circuit boards.  May monitor and verify quality according to 
control procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:<br> High school diploma or equivalent.  
Training courses in electronic assembly with experience 
equivalent to four to eight years.  Ability to use soldering, 
wire-wrap, compression tools and automatic bench tools.  Must be 
able to operate wave-flow, contact insertion machines and 
instruct use of same.  Ability to read blueprints and schematics 
and ECO Rework instruction.  Required to interpret schematics and 
wiring diagrams for subassembly and top assemblies while 
maintaining quality standards.  Requires visual perception and 
knowledge of color codes and the ability to distinguish between 
colors.  May need ability to train and detail work assignments 
for other workers.  May need to interpret and understand MIL Spec 
requirements for PCB build and chassis build for military 
products.  Knowledge of computer operations and applications.
