KM611-3535<br> Perform manual and clerical duties related to
domestic and routine ****pment and receipt of materials, supplies,
equipment and finished products. Prepare and maintain necessary
do***entation and files. <br> <br> ****pping functions include:
Check goods against ****pping do***ents for accuracy and
authorizations. Determine packaging requirements and build
special crating fixtures and braces. Pack goods for ****pment in
accordance with applicable specifications, equipment
characteristics, trans****tation methods and routes; verify
identification and quantity of products to be ****pped. Prepare
waybills, posting weight and ****pping details; stamps, stencils
or attaches information and ****pping instruction onto containers;
maintain inventory of cartons, tapes, foam and other packing
materials.<br> <br> Receiving functions include: Receipt and
unpacking of goods; check receipts against waybills, packing
slips, et.; verify nomenclature, identification and quantity;
prepare discrepancy re****ts when needed. Maintain records of
goods received; process damaged, excess or misdirected goods,
routing material to inspection, stores or other destination;
perform receipt data entry. <br> <br> Additional functions:
Keep current with ****pping, receiving procedures and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications: <br> High school education or equivalent.
One to three years of related work experience in
****pping/receiving. Valid California driver's license and a
clean driving record required. Must be physically able of
lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to operate
material handling equipment and be able to qualify for the
company forklift operator license. Basic knowledge in use of PC
terminal required. Must be detail oriented for accuracy required
in receiving material, processing ****pments, and processing mail.
Possess organizational skills for work scheduling and good
interpersonal skills. Position may require DoD security
clearances.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS:<br> Knowledge of ****pping and postal regulations.
Six months experience in a mailroom and ability to operate postal
metering machines.<br> <br>
