Responsibilities include:
* Administer MySQL database servers for both Production and R&D use
* Define and implement procedures for building, deploying, and
maintaining database servers
* Define and implement backup/restore procedures
* Develop methods for monitoring database
* Building re****ts and tools
* Define, implement and maintain failover procedures
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years experience as DBA
* 2-3 years experience in MySQL on Linux
* Expertise in MySQL replication and performance tuning
* Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of databases
* Tools and technologies related to data mining and re****t generation
* Distributed database systems desired
* Expertise in clusters desired
* Ability to troubleshoot and performance tune both Linux OS Server and
database
