Engineer V - #3804 Weight Control<br> The primary responsibility
for the Weight Control Engineer will be to lead and guide program
weight control efforts within the Electromagnetic Systems (EMS)
Division. This is an exciting op****tunity with responsibilities
to develop and do***ent EMS Division procedures for control and
do***entation of mass properties and weight and balance of EMS
products. Tasks will focus on developing and implementing weight
control plans including: establi****ng system weight control
processes; estimating system and component weights; *****sing
weight risk on systems; tracking and re****ting weight status;
implementing weight control and weight reduction plans; and
do***enting and re****ting the status of weight control efforts to
program management. Additional tasks will include: preparation of
task I project plans including schedules and cost estimates;
tracking of financial / schedule status of tasks / programs and
re****ting to senior management; writing technical and management
(cost / schedule) re****ts for tasks; coordinating task / program
requirements with senior management and customers; and preparing
and presenting task I program status to senior management and
customers. The position will interface with multiple engineering
disciplines and will lead efforts, as required, to test (measure)
for weights and balance of completed systems. This position may
require the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.<br> Great

Typically requires a BS degree and 9 years, MS degree and 7 years
or a PhD and 4 years in Engineering or related technical field
and progressively complex engineering experience. May substitute
equivalent experience in lieu of education. The position is
expected to be capable of planning and implementing system wide
weight control programs on major projects and be an effective
communicator with the ability to represent the company
independently on complex matters. <br> <br> DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:<br> Ten or more years of professional experience
in controlling weight and balance of complex systems is highly
preferred; familiarity with design of major systems and
proficiency with the standard business software (word processing,
spreadsheet, e-mail) is required. <br>
