Quality Assurance Engineer II
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma required Bachelors degree in Computer Science
preferred with two (2) to three (3) years end user web experience
and/or three (3) to five (5) years of testing experience required or,
equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the
essential duties of the job. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Required: general understanding of the QA process and QA testing.
Ability to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules. Basic
experience or knowledge in the following; IE; Windows NT; QA
Do***entation; Mac OS; Netscape;
* Preferred: understanding and experience using automated testing
tools; re****ting; load/regression testing tools; knowledge of web
functionality and web related languages (HTML, XML, ASP.NET); web
development; software development life cycle; Active Directory,
JavaScript, VB 6.0, Segue SilkPerformer, SQL, Database Concepts;
eCollege or related industry application knowledge and use awareness;
* Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS
Excel, Visio, MS Access;
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation;
* Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently;
* Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written
and verbal), and interpersonal skills;
* Excellent organizational and time management skills;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to make timely and sound decisions;
* Detail oriented;
* Ability to work independently and in a team based environment;
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment;
* Ability to work under pressure and in high stress situations;
* Ability to be self motivated;
