Database Developer
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years
Design logical and physical database designs that sup****t
client/business objectives. Sup****t/monitor the creation of physical
data models. Analyze content and quality of databases and provide data
normalization approaches. Develop and implement standards for data
naming and database design. Implement fixes and enhancements.
Skills and Experience:
4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development. 4+ years of Oracle scripting. 2+
years of Unix Korn Shell scripting. Experience with web application
development. Database performance tuning. Object Oriented design
skills. Demonstrated testing experience. Business Objects experience a
plus. Effective analysis of new and existing applications and
platforms. Utilizes development best practices (coding standards,
design and code reviews, unit testing, performance testing,
etc..)Desired Skills: Willingness to take owner****p. Delivery focused.
Structured, methodical approach. Work well under pressure (go extra
mile when needed).
Personal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing within IT
and with end users. Clear communication and do***entation of technical
specifications. Self-Motivated . Team-Player. Ability to multi-task.
Tolerance for change.
Experience/Background
4+ years of software development in a commercial environment within a
structured development methodology. Education:
