provides general contracting, design build, construction management, and
pre-construction services to all sectors of the business world.
Role: Re****ting to our VP. Project Management, you will provide overall
direction, administration and coordination of the project to achieve
intended costs and schedule. You will assist the Site Supervisor in
planning and direction of the construction activities.
Requirements:
• C.E.T. or P.Eng. or equivalent.
• You have 8-10 years (Canadian and/or USA) construction/engineering
experience with at least 5 years’ experience supervising large
commercial and civil projects in the $20 million plus range.
• Proficiency with MS Office and an aptitude with scheduling software
are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Develops, with the involvement of the VP Contracts, the project
budget and work breakdown structure enabling the identification of
responsibility and costs through as cost code system.
• Negotiates and establishes, with the involvement of the VP
Contracts, the terms and scope of work for subcontract and supplier
packages.
• You will represent the client at site meetings with the Owner and
Consultants and ensures all correspondence from the Owner and Consultants
receives prompt attention.
• You will assume overall responsibility for the prompt and complete
Close Out of projects, including finalizing all
owner/subcontractor/supplier issues, competition of deficiencies, and
submission of final do***entation, attaining Total Performance and
preparation/presentation of Post Project Evaluations.
