We are seeking a Sr Thermal Mechanical Designer - High Volume
Microelectronics for our Toronto based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop thermo-mechanical designs and solutions for high volume
microelectronics manufacturing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in product Thermo-Mechanical design & development,
including electronic packaging
- Strong Background in Thermo-Fluid and Thermal
- Solid experience utilizing ProEngineer(Pro-E) CAD software
- Working knowledge or experience using Ansys, Icepak &/or Flotherm
applications
- Experience in DFM & DFA with strong understanding of tolerance analysis
methods
- Working knowledge of high volume manufacturing processes including sheet
assembly & plastic part design, tooling, heat sink design & molding
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
